Welcome to Juihal Restaurant, where great food meets heartfelt hospitality. Meet the driving force behind our venture: Jintu Gogoi, a seasoned hospitality professional, and Trishna Borpatro Gohain Gogoi, an experienced educator turned restaurateur.
With 14 years of experience in the industry, Jintu's expertise and attention to detail ensure every dish is a masterpiece. Trishna's background in teaching brings a warm and welcoming atmosphere to our restaurant, making every guest feel at home.
Guiding their journey is Trishna's mother, Mamoni Borpatrogohain, whose strategic insights help steer our business towards success.

In 2017, our adventure in the world of food began with a simple temporary stall during the lively celebrations of Durga Puja, lasting just three days. Surprisingly, those three days sparked an unexpected surge of enthusiasm and support from our patrons. Word spread rapidly, and soon, people were eagerly seeking out our dishes beyond the boundaries of the stall. It was during this time that the likes of Neel Akash, Rajiv Sharma, Bharat Saikia, Kailash Kusum, and Jagat Gogoi stepped forward, not only as patrons but as visionaries, urging us to take our passion for food to the next level. Their encouragement and guidance became the driving force for our journey into the realm of a full-fledged restaurant. A pivotal moment came when they informed us that Zubeen Garg would be visiting Moran and expressed their desire for us to host him at our restaurant. This news further fueled our determination to pursue excellence in the art of cuisine. And thus, with their steadfast support and the excitement of our newfound community, our restaurant was born.

Our Vision
Our vision at Juihal is to bring the rich flavors of Assamese cuisine to the world. Beginning in Upper Assam, we aim to expand first throughout the region and then to major cities across India, making traditional Assamese dishes accessible to everyone.

Jintu Gogoi
Founder, With over 14 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Jintu brings a wealth of expertise to the table. Graduating from Frankfin Institute, Guwahati, his journey spans various domains before establishing the Juihal Group of Restaurants in 2015."

Trishna Borpatrogohain
Co-Founder, Coming from a teaching background, she brings her expertise to Juihal. With degrees in M.A(English) and B.Ed, Trishna enhances our understanding of customer experience and contributes innovative ideas to our business.

Mamoni Borpatra Gohain
Advisor, The food expert at Juihal. Originating from Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, Mamoni preserves the authenticity of our dishes and introduces innovative flavors. She's the mastermind behind iconic Juihal delicacies like tupula bhaat, chicken boil, pork boil, and various healthy herb-infused dishes. Her passion and creativity drive Juihal's rapid growth.

Advisor, A retired civil engineer with over 40 years of experience, his extensive travels across India have honed his knowledge of local cuisine. His passion for fresh ingredients and expertise ensure that Juihal serves vibrant, flavorful dishes to our customers.

Amrit Boruah
Designer, As the lead designer at Juihal Restaurant, he is in charge of all digital aspects including graphic design, social media management, and website maintenance. His responsibilities ensure that the restaurant’s digital presence is visually appealing and effectively communicates the brand’s ethos to engage and attract customers. His creative expertise not only enhances the visual storytelling of Juihal but also supports the restaurant's overall marketing and customer interaction strategies.
